Action Nepal partnership with OXFAM is seeking dynamic energetic and result oriented professionals for the following positions to intervene the ongoing project in 2 VDCs (Satyadevi and Tripureswor) of Dhading district.
Current Vacancies: Livelihood Officer and Sub-Engineer (Shelter)
Position : Livelihood Officer
No. of Vacancy: 1
Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Agriculture
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
• Conduct community consultation meeting for program orientation in close coordination with concerned local and district level stakeholders
• Coordination and consultation with district line agencies as part of transparency and accountability for better program result.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Agriculture, Sociology, Development Studies or in relevant field.
• 2 years experience in livelihood programs. Having some background in humanitarian works will be valued.

Position : Sub Engineer (Shelter)
No. of Vacancy: 1
Educational Qualification: Bachelor in Civil Engineer /Diploma in Overseer
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
• Knowledge of shelter solution for livestock;
• Knowledge of earthquake resistant construction methods;
• Knowledge of the difficult terrain in Nepal and experience of working in remote areas in appropriate emergency/ transitional shelter;
• The ability to create and follow work-plans and to provide progress reports; .
